January is the month for new beginnings. We start to focus more on the future and less on the past. Summer does not seem so far away anymore.
Have you thought about your intentions for this year? What do you want it to look like? What good things can you visualize happening?
Have you ever noticed how quickly the months go by? It is so easy just to settle into the routine and talk about...... someday. Yup, we have all been there.
Someday I will change my lifestyle.
Someday I will change my job.
Someday I will move to another state.
Someday I will start my dream business.
Someday I will start giving back to my community.
Someday I will really make a difference.
...... the list goes on .
The reality is we have to chip away at our dreams and goals every day. No matter how small the step is, every step counts.
So lets use January to really kickstart our plans and goals for this year and beyond!
Carve out some time in your week to sit down with pen and paper to figure out what you want to achieve this year. What do you intend to do?
Let's forget about all those limitations we put on ourselves and decided that this is the year to start really moving forward.
Imagine what you want your life to look like 12 months from now. Then work backwards and decided the tasks you need to do to get there. Break each step or each goal into smaller manageable chunks that you can achieve each week, and then happily tick them off your list!
When you start to take action you start to feel empowered and confident. Then you take action again. Slowly moving forward to building your future!
So start today, Make January count! Take those New Year resolutions to heart and commit , really commit to acting on them!
